How do you like the blog, and what suggestions do you have? Contract is up soon so what Ideas do you have to improve our Local, and I mean serious ideas and it doesn't always have to do with money. What About the things our forefathers fought for that we have so easiliy givin up on in maybe a one or two day negotiation. Come on! We have to prove why we deserve what we deserve and not just blurt out some figures based on the locals around us. We need the negotiating committee to come up with some figures and facts to show how the cost of living has out paced what we deserve to make. We are a great Local and most of us take pride in making the Local look good instead of ourselves. Let's be smart and do it right. I want to know what you think, and nothing stupid either. Wake up! This is a business. It is not your fathers local anymore. We must be smarter and stronger and take action. If you are afraid of hurting feelings than don't negotiate! Let someone else do it.
